The recent gift of 21 plaster sculptures and 3 bronzes by Jean (Hans) Arp makes their debut at the center, alongside Arp’s Torso with Buds, the founding work of the collection of modern and contemporary sculpture. Together, they offer an overview of Arp’s significant contributions to 20th-century art, particularly in his development of an influential vocabulary of organic, swelling forms suggestive of natural processes.
The 2025 Nasher Prize Laureate is Otobong Nkanga, whose evocative works speak to the complex relationships between humans, the land, and its resources. Nkanga's works touch on issues of consumption, global circulation, connectivity, and care.
Visitors can enjoy rotating exhibitions featuring new art from Texas artists, as well as free ‘til Midnight Movies, Music and Moonlight celebrations. They can also participate in the Nasher Scavenger Hunt to win free tickets to the center.
